COSIby Louis Nowra
March 5 - 20, 2010 Directed by Andrew Doyle Lewis, an unemployed drama director takes on the task of mounting a production of Mozart's 'Cosi Fan Tutte', except for one small detail - his actors are the residents of a psychiatric hospital. From the psychopathic firebug and the aspiring megalomaniac, to the lovesick and forlorn, we learn that when chasing your dreams, it helps to be a little crazy. A heart-warming comedy. Hunters Hill Theatre acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and perform. We pay our respects to elders past who have shared language, culture and tradition and are the original storytellers on these lands. We also pay our respect to elders present and emerging, and we extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with whom we work and share stories.
