Gaslight

by Patrick Hamilton
August 5-20, 2016

Director: Faith Jessel

Written in 1938 and billed as a ‘Victorian thriller’ author Patrick Hamilton plunges us into fogbound London 1880 and a world of psychological torment, as the devastatingly appealing but appalling Jack Manningham slowly attempts to drive his gentle, devoted wife Bella, to the brink of insanity. A suspenseful classic!

Hunters Hill Theatre acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we rehearse and perform. We pay our respects to elders past who have shared language, culture and tradition and are the original storytellers on these lands. We also pay our respect to elders present and emerging, and we extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with whom we work and share stories.
